What is the setting of this group?
Sword Dynasty is set in the modern era, but with more advanced technology to allow for immersive virtual reality technology! The MMORPG world allows for a merge of that and an fantasy world!

Can I invite my friends?
Sure thing! As long as they are 18+, feel free to send an invite towards any friends who you think would be interested, this is a fairly casual server so there’s no prerequisites to joining!

What is the interaction format in this server?
Since this is a more casual oc group, the interactions will most likely be through headcanoning or art interactions! A channel for RPing can also be added upon request, or can be done in DMs!

What is the goal of this group?
Sword Dynasty was created simply to just let people have fun! The group is intended to be a laid-back place for you all to have fun with oc interactions, and maybe meet more people along the way!

Are there rewards for leveling up?
Because this server is intended to be more casual, the levels are mostly there just for fun. At level 20+ though, you are free to found your own guild, however there are additional requirements as well!

Am I allowed to create my own guild?
As said above, at level 20+, you are able to found your own guild, but there is an additional requirement! You must have a minimum of 3 initial members, meaning 3 separate OCs that don’t belong to you joining the guild at time of formation!

How should I start on making my oc?
To create your oc’s in-game sona, or learn more about the game and its mechanics, you can find the information in the assorted documents at the bottom of [#welcome]! As for your oc’s irl sona, it’s the same as creating any sort of modern world oc!

How active do I need to be in the server?
As of now, all the gameplay is purely hypothetical to facilitate headcanoning. There's no need to be active daily in the server, nor is there a way to keep track of intimacy points. A system can be put in place if it's highly requested though!

How many OCs can I make?
As many as you’d like! Since this is a casual OC server, there’s no applications or forms needed, feel free to go crazy & go ham!

Does my OC have to start out at level 1?
No! Feel free to create any sort of in-game sona for your oc you’d like! A top player? Superb! A newbie still trying to learn the ropes? Awesome! The levels from the bot are mainly just for fun and don't apply to your oc!

What is the level cap in-game?
Level cap in the current patch is level 60. It would take the average player around 3-6 months to grind out the levels depending on the amount they play, but it’s fairly achievable!

Does my oc have to wear the fashion associated with their faction?
Not at all! In-game characters are welcome to buy clothing from any clothing shops in Sword Dynasty to glamor onto their own armor. The fashion in each continent is purposely vague to let you fully customize your OC’s in-game character, whether they want to wear a maid dress, fancy suit, bikini, hanfu, or anything else!

Can I join multiple guilds?
Each OC can only join one guild, but you can have different OCs join different guilds! Please only select the guild roles for the guilds you’re in!

What clothing should I design for my oc’s in-game sona?
Though Sword Dynasty is fantasy themed, thanks to the creative team, a variety of fashions and aesthetics can be seen sported by player characters in game! Fancy suits, maid dresses, you name it, Sword Dynasty probably has it!

Does my choice in guild impact how I interact in the server?
Not really! The guilds are there for additional interaction, with multiple choices so you can choose which best suits your oc, just choose whichever you think your oc will join! In fact, you don’t have to join a guild if you think it doesn’t suit your oc, this is just here for additional fun!

Can my OC dual class?
In sword dynasty, each character may only master one class, however, your oc may make alts for a different class! Each account can hold 3 character slots, so feel free to let your oc explore multiple play styles!

The character class skills are left purposely vague in order to give you more freedom of imagination! The class descriptions mainly just help to give an idea of what that class was intended for!
